Kareem is a high-net-worth individual based in Dubai, deeply involved in the crypto ecosystem since 2017. He earns a significant portion of his income from DeFi, NFTs, and early-stage token investments. His crypto assets are diversified across 16 chains, including Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, and less mainstream L1s. He enjoys a luxurious lifestyle and often makes high-ticket purchases, favoring brands like Patek Philippe, Aston Martin, and Berluti. He prefers paying in fiat for luxury goods when crypto is not accepted directly — but he values speed, privacy, and minimal slippage or fees when converting assets. He recently decided to reward himself with a Patek Philippe Aquanaut, but the retailer only accepts AED bank transfers, and he needs to convert his fragmented crypto portfolio into AED without losing too much in fees, time, or complexity.
Kareems painpoints
Scattered Liquidity:
Assets are fragmented across 16 chains. Swapping to a single stablecoin (like USDT or USDC) requires using multiple bridges and DEXs.
Bridging Friction:
Bridging between chains is slow, expensive, and risky (especially if done manually).
Some chains don’t support native bridging to major off-ramp networks.
Lack of Unified Off-Ramp:
Most off-ramp solutions support only a few chains or require centralized exchanges.
Difficult to find a single platform that handles all chains and off-ramps directly to AED.
Slippage & Hidden Fees:
Losses incurred during swaps due to slippage, bad rates, or liquidity gaps.
Bridging and swapping add multiple layers of fees.
Proposed Solution: Chain Abstraction
Chain abstraction is the idea that users shouldn't need to know (or care) which blockchain they’re interacting with. It’s about hiding the complexity of multi-chain infrastructure under a single, unified experience — much like how you don’t need to know how the internet routes your data, just that your YouTube video plays.
In a chain-abstracted world, you:
Use apps without knowing which chain they’re on.
Sign transactions once, and the backend handles the routing/swapping/bridging.
View and manage assets across chains in one place.
Think of it like:
"Use crypto like it's one global operating system, not 50 different machines."
UI Breakdown
Connect multiple wallet
The Wallet View gives users a single dashboard to see all their crypto assets across multiple blockchains in one place. Instead of switching between 10+ wallets or networks, the Wallet View automatically detects and displays balances, tokens, and stablecoins from every chain a user holds.
Wallet view
Users can easily view all tokens across connected wallet from on unified wallet overview.
Convert from multiple wallets
With this system, all wallets connect to a single interface, and the platform automatically;
Detects assets across connected wallets.
Finds the best routes to convert them into a common stablecoin (e.g. USDT/USDC).
Bridges and consolidates the funds into one place for easy off-ramp.

Swapping $ Success
Once consolidated, users can prepare their funds for off-ramping without worrying about swaps, bridges, or hidden fees.
Finally, with one click, stablecoins are exchanged into AED and sent directly to the user’s bank account.
How does Chain Abstraction Solve Omar's Problem
1. Unified Asset View
💥 Problem: Omar's assets are scattered across 16 blockchains.
With chain abstraction:
A smart dashboard shows all of Omar’s tokens across chains in one place, regardless of which wallet or chain they're on.
He doesn't need to open 5 wallets or switch networks to check balances.
2. Smart Routing and Bridging
💥 Problem: Manually bridging/swapping tokens from multiple chains into one stablecoin is tedious and error-prone.
With chain abstraction:
With chain abstraction, omar doesn’t have to manually bridge or swap tokens across multiple chains. The system automatically finds the best route, converts his assets into one stablecoin, and handles all the complexity behind the scenes—so he just get his funds, fast and error-free.
3. Simplified KYC / Compliance
💥 Problem: Redundant KYC across different platforms.
With chain abstraction:
KYC happens once, tied to a wallet or account.
Why this matters
WITH CHAIN ABSTRACTION
WITHOUT CHAIN ABSTRACTION
One-click cross-chain routing
Manual bridging & swapping
Unified dashboard
Managing 16 wallets/networks
Optimized routes
High slippage & fees
Smart fiat off-ramp
No AED support
One-time verification
Repeated KYC
Potential Impact
For Users:
The experience of moving assets feels as simple as using a single wallet. Instead of learning about chains, bridges, or token standards, users just select an amount and a destination. This reduces friction, boosts confidence in using crypto for everyday finance, and makes off-ramping more accessible to newcomers.
For Liquidity & Cost:
Optimized routing ensures users always get the best available rates across liquidity pools, reducing slippage and fees. Over time, this improves capital efficiency for the ecosystem and increases trust in decentralized finance as a reliable alternative to traditional systems.
General accessibility:
With smart fiat off-ramps, users in regions underserved by stablecoin liquidity or without strong local crypto exchanges gain direct access to their local currencies. Supporting currencies like AED and beyond opens crypto finance to millions more people globally.
For compliance & Trust:
With smart fiat off-ramps, users in regions underserved by stablecoin liquidity or without strong local crypto exchanges gain direct access to their local currencies. Supporting currencies like AED and beyond opens crypto finance to millions more people globally.
For the ecosystem:
Chain abstraction lowers the learning curve of Web3, making cross-chain liquidity and fiat access feel invisible. This paves the way for new applications, faster institutional adoption, and a broader audience for decentralized technologies.
